AdventHealth is actively seeking Gastroenterologists in Davenport, Florida at 202-bed non-profit, non-trauma, 501c3 acute care hospital. The incoming physician would have a work setting of primarily be outpatient and have ability to help cover a sister hospital if they wanted inpatient services. There is such a high demand in the area, we have patients waiting between 3-6 months for an appointment.

We can entertain J1 Waiver (Conrad and SCRC) and H1B Visa candidates and are cap-exempt based on our academic affiliations. We sponsor permanent card immediately.

Position Overview

The reason for the recruitment is due to overwhelming demand in the area. Patients wait 3-6 months for their appointments. Davenport is growing at a rapid pace, so demand will only increase. This area is the fastest growing area in the country. Our gastroenterologists will have the ability to be as busy as they desire, practicing 100% outpatient, or opting in for some inpatient coverage, practicing with full autonomy with the support of one of the nation’s top ranked organizations.

There is already employed 2 full-time gastroenterologists and 2 APP for outpatient services and 2 additional full-time gastroenterologists for inpatient services.
