Our busy primary care practice is looking to add to our outpatient clinics in the city of Bakersfield.
Adventist has been serving the communities of Bakersfield and Ker County for more than 100 years. With 4 clinic locations across the city, and 2 retiring physicians, we are looking to add an additional primary care physician to support our community.
Adventist Health has been serving Bakersfield and the surrounding communities for more than 100 years. First established in 1910 as the San Juaquin Hospital. After changing hands a few times, in 1964 the hospital became a non-profit entity and in 1973 opened a new 166-bed hospital that was built across the street from the original facility. In 1987 they joined the Adventist group.
Bakersfield is the 9th largest city in California and is one of the most affordable large cities in California with a population of 385,725. With the growing community it has been named one of the best markets for “Millennials to buy a home.”
