Blue Ridge Health is a nonprofit, community-based health organization and FQHC founded in 1963 in Western North Carolina and was also among the first of the migrant health centers opened in the US during this time. Over time, Blue Ridge Health continued to expand and provided patient care to a more diverse group of patients within just 15 years. As an FQHC, Blue Ridge Health offers the same high-quality healthcare services to the uninsured and underinsured populations of Western North Carolinas it offers to those with insurance.
