Our current lead Pediatrician, Dr. Van Beever shared that he could easily refer 2-3 new patients per day to a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and there is a massive need throughout the community for this role. The Fresno area has over 1 million people and only 7 Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists available to work with and their care is not up to the standards we adhere to at Community Health Partners.
