Primary Care Overview
They are looking to replace a departing NP who is moving further north to Tucson. This provider had been with them for many years and is reluctantly leaving due to family and personal reasons. This will generally be a bread-and-butter primary care position seeing all ages with a slightly higher geriatric population. The community of Patagonia is a smaller, more eclectic community that is about 20-25 minutes away from Mariposa’s main clinic in Nogales. This will give the incoming provider the opportunity to practice a little more rural medicine if they desire but have the backup of the main clinic if they need to send out a referral.
