The leadership team has been able to obtain funding to upgrade the facility and turn it into one of the most profitable inpatient units in the country. They are still building back their clinical team. You will have the ability to work in the desired unit that you want to be in, their current clinical team is flexible.

Psychiatry Overview

The facility covers 14 patient beds per shift, seeing around 16 patients daily with 2 discharges and 2 admissions. No admissions after 3:45 pm to avoid overtime. Most patients (99%) arrive involuntarily via ambulance from the ED. 30%-40% are Medicaid patients with complex needs. Transitioning to Cerner by Spring 2024. Nuance and Dragon for notes, but documents printed for the paper record. Little competition due to location. High demand as nearby hospitals have waitlists, causing ED holds.
