Compensation Package Overview

The compensation package for this Internal Medicine position is highly competitive for a large metropolitan area. It includes a $286,200 base salary, supplemented by a $30,000 quality bonus, bringing the total compensation to around $316,200. Additionally, there is a $30,000 sign-on bonus and $17,000 relocation assistance for those moving to Portland. The position also offers an internal student loan repayment program, providing $18,000 in assistance over five years ($90,000 total), with additional eligibility for Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

Physicians are also compensated based on a transparent RVU model, earning $51 per RVU after meeting the threshold. The benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as generous paid time off (PTO), $5,000 CME allowances, and retirement plans. Adventist Health Portland also provides malpractice insurance and resources for retirement planning.
