Your practice begins without an existing staff structure. The hospital supplies all clinic personnel and builds the team around your needs. This includes front office support, clinical staff, and access to leadership for workflow planning. Staffing scales with patient volume. You have influence over how the team grows.
You will have a medical assistant or nurse assigned once you begin seeing patients. As the panel expands, the hospital can add additional support to keep access smooth. An APP may be added later when demand exceeds your availability, but there are no current plans for one at startup.
The CNO and administrative team stay involved in early setup. They have long-term experience with the hospital and understand the operational details required to launch a new clinic. They will help you structure staffing, scheduling, and daily operations. You have direct access to decision-makers for adjustments.
The internal medicine group across the street covers all inpatient care. You will coordinate with them for shared patients but avoid hospital rounds and admissions. Pediatrics is located on campus and becomes part of your clinical community. The relationships are collegial and practical. Communication is straightforward.
The staff structure gives you a supportive, flexible team that grows with your practice and keeps your daily work predictable.
