Cardiologist Opportunity with Award-Winning Health System

Join a leading 501(c)(3) health system celebrated for its excellence in patient care and state-of-the-art facilities. The hospital boasts 140 inpatient beds, a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit, an 8-bed radiology lounge, and provides 24/7 coverage by intensivists. With newly renovated clinic spaces adjacent to the hospital and plans for further expansion, this is an ideal setting to grow your practice.

The clinic is located in the same parking lot as the hospital so it is easy to get back and forth.

Current Team

Collaborative Environment: Become part of a collegial team comprising four cardiologists—two non-invasive and two interventional—and three dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Growth and Expansion: The practice is actively recruiting an Electrophysiologist as well to enhance and expand cardiology services.
Strong Referral Network: Benefit from a robust referral system with over 20 primary care providers sending a diverse range of cases.

Work Schedule

Balanced Work-Life: Enjoy a standard 4.5-day workweek with a focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Providers see around 20 patients per day in the clinic, so there is a very reasonable work schedule. 1-2 days a week, providers will need to round on patients in the hospital, with an average daily census of 5. Once that is complete, they normally see a few patients in the clinic.
Efficient Scheduling: Last patient appointments are set for 4:15 PM, ensuring your days are manageable and predictable.
Modern Facilities: Work in a newly renovated clinic space with plans for further enhancements, providing a comfortable environment for both patients and staff.

Call Structure

Favorable Call Rotation: Experience a light 1:6 call schedule, covering only one location. Hospitalist will do admissions and consult with Cardiology. Everyone we spoke to said it is extremely rare to have to come in after hours.
Supportive Coverage: Weekend call duties are assisted by APPs, giving you more personal time.
Team Support: Join an extremely collegial staff that fosters a supportive and collaborative work atmosphere.

Facilities and Technology

Advanced Cath Labs: Access three spacious catheterization labs with the capacity to add a fourth, ensuring seamless scheduling and patient care.
Integrated Systems: Utilize the fully integrated Epic EMR system for efficient patient management.
Diagnostic Skills: Candidates need to be proficient in reading vascular ultrasounds and coronary CT angiography.
Procedures & Tests: Providers here are doing TEE, Devices (Pacemakers, ICDs), EKGs, Holter Monitors, Exercise & Cardiac Stress Tests, Read Echos & device management.
