Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview
- The base compensation is established at an annual rate of $385,000 during the initial 36-month term. (outclause-90 days?)
- The salary will be disbursed biweekly over 26 weeks.
- Physicians will be incentivized through a productivity-based compensation model, with an annual wRVU (work relative value unit) expectation set at 8,020 wRVUs.
- A productivity bonus will be applied at a rate of $48 per wRVU achieved beyond the base performance.
- To provide financial stability during the initial phase, a 24-month income guarantee is in place.
- Additionally, a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus and a $15,000 Moving Allowance will be provided.
Employee Benefits
- Comprehensive health insurance coverage, including vision and dental benefits, will be provided, with premium payments in accordance with AdventHealth Hendersonville policies.
- Physicians will have access to a 403(b) Retirement Plan, supported by employer contributions.
- Professional License and Membership Fees are reimbursable, up to a maximum of $1,500.
Paid Leave Days
- Physicians are granted paid leave days based on their professional judgment.
- During the income guarantee period, a total of 24 paid leave days per calendar year will be available.
Continuing Medical Education
- An expense reimbursement of $3,000 is allocated annually to support the actual cost of attendance at preapproved CME activities.
Malpractice Coverage
- AdventHealth Hendersonville ensures physicians with occurrence-based, self-insured professional liability coverage.
Non-compete
- A non-compete clause is applicable during the term of the agreement and extends for one year after the employment termination or expiration.
- The restricted area is defined within a fifteen-mile radius of the assigned practice location(s).
