Your contract will consist of a 1-year guaranteed salary based on specialty and experience. Your offer will include a $20K sign-on bonus, relocation and student loan repayment if applicable. After your first-year guarantee, your compensation will move to wRVU productivity with a yearly quality bonus. You can come off the 1st year guarantee prior to the end of year 1 if you are producing over the threshold of your base pay. This will be evaluated quarterly.
Once we have confirmed your interest in relocating and practicing in Bakersfield, we will need your most recent CV along with an electronic background disclosure form that will be sent to you via DocuSign.
From here, your first call with be with Grant Garcia, in-house recruiter for Adventist in Bakersfield. Assuming everything goes well, your next call will be with the director of Ambulatory services as well as Medical Director, Dr. Stratagos. From here you will be invited onsite to get to know the team and the community. Within 48 hours you will be extended an LOI after 3 references have been contacted. Once the LOI is signed, it will be 48 hours to receive a contract.
Onboarding can take anywhere from 60-90 days for credentialling. If you do not already have a California license, beginning this process as soon as you can will help expedite the credentialling timeline.
