Situated in the heart of Los Angeles, White Memorial Medical Center is a 353-bed, not-for-profit, faith-based and teaching institution that has served Los Angeles and surrounding communities for over 100 years since its founding in 1913. As part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church system, their mission is to provide a higher level of quality care to its patients through its guiding principles and performs in the top percentile as one of the leading healthcare providers in Southern California.
To maintain its promise, White Memorial underwent a major reconstructive effort in 2001 by adding a brand new 8-story specialty care tower, a central utilities upgrade, a new lobby, chapel, main entrance construction, and a complete retro lift and remodel of the entire hospital. The entire project was completed in 2013.
