Medical Director of Radiation Oncology

Pehr Hartvigson, MD, is the medical director of CMH Radiation Oncology services. Dr. Hartvigson joined CMH in August 2019 as a radiation oncologist in the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative.

Before coming to CMH, Dr. Hartvigson completed his residency in radiation oncology and medical school at the University of Washington. Between medical school and his residency, he also completed an intern year in internal medicine through the University of Washington in Boise, Idaho.

Dr. Hartvigson is from a small town in rural Alaska and aims to care for patients in the Cancer Collaborative like he would take care of his friends and family.

He enjoys exploring the North Coast with family and friends.

Sarunas Sliesoraitis, DO, PharmD, is a medical oncologist at the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative.

Dr. Sliesoraitis most recently worked for Intermountain Medical Group at Logan Regional Hospital in Logan, Utah. During his career, he has also worked as an assistant professor in pharmacy practice and as a staff pharmacist. Early in his career, he worked as a medic and nursing assistant for the U.S. Army National Guard.

Dr. Sliesoraitis earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, and his doctorate of pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut in Mansfield, Connecticut. He also holds a graduate certificate in translational health science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

Dr. Sliesoraitis completed a fellowship in advanced oncology-hematology drug development through the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He also completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Florida.

He completed an internal medicine residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; an oncology pharmacy practice residency at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer & Research Center in Tampa, Florida; and a pharmacy practice residency at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

During his career, Dr. Sliesoraitis has received several awards. His work has been published in several publications, highlighting research on both oncology and pharmacology.

Dr. Sliesoraitis is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and many honors societies. He is fluent in Lithuanian.

Medical oncologist Mark Sundermeyer, MD, joined the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative in June 2020.

Dr. Sundermeyer spent the previous 14 years working in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology for Abington Hospital - Jefferson Health in Abington, Pennsylvania. He served as its deputy division chief for four years.

Dr. Sundermeyer is board-certified in hematology and medical oncology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri Columbia School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He also completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center/Temple University Hospital.

Dr. Sundermeyer is originally from a small town in Missouri. Throughout his career, he has worked at large health care centers. He is enjoying getting back to his roots and working in a smaller community and health care system where he can get to know everyone personally.
