As part of our team, you will manage a case load of 5-7 follow-up patients per day, working collaboratively with our radiation oncologist to develop individualized treatment plans. You will play a pivotal role in patient education, offering support and guidance to patients and their families during the most vulnerable time in their lives. You will also be expected to perform patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and symptom evaluations, to develop individualized treatment plans. CMH-OHSU’S Knight Cancer Collaborative participates in treatment planning conferences, contributing their expertise in radiation therapy techniques and dosage calculations and you will be expected to be a part of these conferences to further enhance your scope of practice.
Frank Betzer, the Provider and Leadership Recruiter, will begin the process by calling you for a brief qualification screening and will schedule you for virtual interviews with the Radiation Oncology providers and leaders. If it is a good fit for both the team and the candidate interviewing, CMH will extend an offer to come on-site for an interview and tour of the facility. An offer will be extended by phone in one to two weeks following the on-site visit. If the offer is accepted, an OHSU contract will be drafted, that can take between 4-6 weeks upon completion.
