Currently, our team consists of 2 Pediatric Hospitalists, with a thrilling opportunity arising due to one member relocating to Fort Worth, Texas. Revel in a coveted work-life balance facilitated by a 7/7 schedule (Monday to Monday), translating to 23 shifts annually.
The essence of this role lies in its 100% inpatient focus, dedicated to delivering specialized care for pediatric patients. Expect to engage in various procedures such as PALS, resuscitation, intubation, and circumcision, enhancing your clinical skills.
Responsibilities include 4 hours of patient rounding during each shift, complemented by the remainder of your time dedicated to managing your own call duties. Noteworthy is the exemption from delivery attendance, expertly managed by our neonatologist and nurse practitioners, affording you an exclusive concentration on inpatient care. Elevating our capabilities, our facility proudly features a NICU II, enriched by neonatology services outsourced from OU, ensuring comprehensive care for our youngest patients.
