Navigating the Clinical Component

In this position, you would be practicing 100% outpatient primary care. The basic work week is 4.5 days in clinic with a half day of protected admin time (36 patient contact hours, 4 hours of admin).

We do offer flexibility when it comes to scheduling. You can work traditional hours, 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. If you prefer to work 4 days per week doing 10-hour shifts, we can accommodate that schedule. Another benefit of our clinic is that we offer alternative hours for our patients. Many of our patients commute to the Bay Area for work and are unable to make appointments during traditional 8-5pm clinic hours. As a solution, some of our physicians work non-traditional hours, for example 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm. If this type of schedule appeals to you, we will work to build your practice this way. There are NO weekend or night requirements with this position.

Our primary care physicians see an average of 20 patients per day. The main focus of our practice is patient care and enabling our physicians to take as much time as they need with their patients. You will have the opportunity to do any office based procedures within your skillset including but not limited to basic women’s health, suturing, joint injections etc.

We also incorporate telehealth visits into your daily schedule. For patients who do not speak English as their first language, we have virtual translators. We also have remote scribes that are available once you are ramped up and busy in your practice. Our EMR system is Cerner.
