EMC is actively recruiting 1 to 2 Family Practice Physician. You’ll be joining one part-time physician, Dr. Ray, and two APP’s. Dr. Ray has been with EMC for several years and has slowed down recently. We are looking for someone to join him and a second provider that will eventually replace him upon his retirement.
EMC is a Non-for-Profit Organization that is truly serving an underserved population and provides care for Emmanuel County as well as surrounding communities. The service area population is between 30,000-50,000. EMC is a Level IV Trauma Center, the lowest level that mainly stabilizes and ships patients.
EMC, a rural hospital, receives trauma grant and provides trauma management education. Specialties include Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Primary Care, Telehealth services like Critical Care and Cardiology.
