The Hospitalist position at Encompass Pleasant Gap Hospital is an exciting opportunity to be part of a premier Acute Rehab Hospital system renowned for its advanced rehabilitative care. This new position is designed to address the growing needs of patients recovering from major injuries and illnesses. The Hospitalist will play a pivotal role in the care continuum, focusing on high-quality, patient-centered care.

To be considered for the Hospitalist position at Encompass Pleasant Gap Hospital, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

MD or DO: Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
State Medical License: Must possess a state medical license or demonstrate willingness to obtain one.
Board Certified or Board Eligible: Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Experience: Hospitalist experience is required, with preferred experience in Post Acute or Acute Rehab settings.
Certification: Completion of a Little R Certification through CME is required in the early days on the job if not already obtained.
