Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

The compensation model for this role is 1099-based, offering substantial earnings potential with an average billing of $15,000-$17,000 per patient and annual earnings of $300,000-$350,000. Leadership stipends include $100,000 for the Medical Director role and $50,000 for the Associate Director role. Additionally, the package includes signing and relocation bonuses for candidates living outside a 50-mile radius. While traditional benefits and retirement plans are not included due to the 1099 status, student loan repayment options are available, with specifics to be determined.

Proforma - you should have a proforma prepared that will assist you in explaining how the compensation and production models works.  You can partner with your EVP or Directors for assistance.

Time off – This is a 1099 position. Days off should be given to the Facility Director so they can arrange coverage in the doctors absence. There is no paid time off  

Sick days – 1099 position. No paid sick days

Benefits – 1099 position. No benefits are included. You will also be responsible for obtaining your malpractice and billing services

Quality Bonus - NA

Signing or retention bonuses $70,000 signing bonus

Relocation - $10,000 relocation assistance. According to the IRS this is a taxable item to candidates.  Please ask clients if they are willing to increase the amount to cover the tax obligation if the candidate asks.
