Joining a Team of 16 Radiologists 

Diagnostic Radiology

Schedule:

  • 4-day work week (3 days onsite, 1 day from home)
  • You own your own list each shift 
  • They have transcriptionists for every rotation that help edit and proofread reports.
  • Volume varies by shift (approximately 120 studies/day)
  • Current Procedures they are doing:
  • Paracentesis (no longer doing thoras – IR has been doing them)
  • Lumbar punctures
  • Joint injections
  • MRI-guided biopsies
  • Ultrasound-guided biopsies
  • Esophagrams 
  • Not currently doing epidurals
  • Weekend call 1:11, no overnight call! (10-15 shifts per year per person) 
  • Teleradiology service takes over from 10am-7 am (does final reads).
  • Pay differential for night and weekend shifts
  • Able to pick up additional shifts, if desired.
  • Ability to teach/academics (Affiliated with University of Minnesota)
  • Epic EMR
  • PowerScribe1 dictation software** 
  • DynaCad and Vitrea software for complex imaging 
  • Modlink for ultrasound reporting 
  • 12 weeks PTO

Mammography 

Schedule:

  • 100% Mammography
  • Monday – Friday 8am-4pm 
  • 4- or 5-day work week 
  • They have transcriptionists for every rotation that help edit and proofread reports.
  • Read an average of 100-140 studies/day 
  • No Call, No Nights, No weekends 
  • Able to pick up additional shifts, if desired.
  • State-of-the-art technology: including selenia Hologic 3-D, Brevia biopsy system, prone 3-D capable Hologic stereotactic biopsy table, current ultrasound units, breast MRI with new coil  
  • Epic EMR
  • 12 Weeks PTO
