Neurology Practice & Support Team
This is a new outpatient neurology program, and the incoming physician will be the first neurologist in the practice. The clinic support team at each location is being finalized, and the physician will have direct input into the staffing model, including clinical support roles and front-office structure at both the Winnsboro and Columbia clinics.
While the neurology team is being built, the physician will work alongside established clinical teams at both hospitals from day one.
Support Structure
- First and founding neurologist for the two-hospital regional practice
- Physician input into clinic staffing at both locations
- RN triage in place to filter call and after-hours contacts
- Nursing support available to accompany the physician on nursing-facility visits for efficient rounding and documentation
Collaborating Teams
- Rehabilitation leadership and full physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams at both hospitals
- Caldwell Memorial Hospital: 21-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Franklin Medical Center: eight-bed acute-care intensive rehabilitation unit
- Referring primary care physicians, hospitalists, and rural health clinic providers across the regional catchment area
