Urology Position Overview

Located in downtown Knoxville, Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center is a 541-bed non-profit hospital. This practice has been around for a long time with a strong reputation and a Market share of approximately 40%.

The Urology group currently consists of four full-time Urologists and 1 PA.

The Urology group splits its time between 2 office locations. The main office is at Ft. Sanders Regional Campus and the Alcoa location. Alcoa is a newer and more modern office with more space. There are 2 doctors at any given time in each office. Once a 5th provider joins the group, they would rotate 3 in one location 2 in the other, and vice versa. The block schedules for surgery are worked in too.
The Knoxville office has procedure rooms, CT scans, X-rays, and an Ultrasound machine with an in-house technician.
The Alcoa office has the same procedure rooms, CT scan, X-ray, and Ultrasound machines.
There is one experienced PA who travels to both offices just like the doctors.
There is currently a 6-8-week wait for new patients to get an appointment.
This location requires a provider with experience in all basic procedures. Robot experience is a plus.
