Position Overview

Primary Care Overview

Imperial Health is currently seeking a Family Medicine physician to join their dynamic team, providing an exceptional opportunity for medical professionals interested in a role that combines the autonomy of private practice with the support of a well-established hospital system. This position caters primarily to outpatient care but offers the flexibility for those interested in participating in hospital duties as well.

Due to two physicians transitioning to a concierge model and the recent passing of another, you will inherit a full patient panel, significantly reducing the typical build-up phase of new practices and ensuring a busy and engaging environment from the start. The clinic boasts a diverse team of 16 primary providers, including 13 Family Practitioners, 3 Internal Medicine physicians, and an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics specialist, fostering a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to healthcare.

This position has a manageable 4.5-day week, dedicating 36 hours to clinical patient contact and 4 hours to administrative responsibilities. This schedule allows for significant work-life balance, aligning with the clinic's operations from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Depending on your comfort and capability, you will see between 20-35 patients per day, supported by a robust system that promotes productivity without compromising the quality of care.

The clinic provides 3-4 personal exam rooms, equipped to handle all basic in-office procedures and cash-pay services. Each physician is supported by a Medical Assistant (MA) and a Patient Access Representative, with options to expand the team as your practice grows. You will have the flexibility to set patient time slots—30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for follow-ups. Additionally, there is the opportunity to engage in various entrepreneurial activities such as remote physiological monitoring, Bio-T injections, and services related to med-spas and Botox, which the group fully supports.

The position offers a "No Call" option, as call duties are covered by the clinic’s two urgent care centers. However, if you prefer an inpatient component, joining a call group is also available.

While the role is primarily outpatient, you have the option to round on patients within primary care during the regular workweek if you choose to involve yourself in hospital care. The clinic offers shifts in urgent care for extra pay, which are compensated at an hourly rate, providing additional income opportunities.

This role is perfect for physicians seeking a position where they can truly shape their practice environment, backed by a supportive and innovative medical group. Whether you are looking to focus strictly on outpatient care or wish to engage in both outpatient and inpatient services, Imperial Health provides the flexibility and resources to thrive professionally.
