Empowering Minds: Education and Schools in Our Community

Butte families can choose between public schools in Butte School District No. 1 and a private Catholic school system serving kindergarten through grade 12. High school students can earn college credit through Montana Tech, which sits within the city.

Montana Tech and Highlands College give Butte a college-town element, and four other Montana universities are within a few hours' drive.
