Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

Intermountain Health offers a $600,000 base salary plus production incentives. The base salary alone is above the 2026 MGMA median total compensation for Hematology/Oncology physicians ($580,528*), before any incentive earnings. Production incentives give you income upside as your practice grows. Because you set your own clinic pace, you decide how much of that upside to pursue. A four-day clinic week, with Friday clinic only during your call week, keeps the workload balanced against the pay.

This model includes assumed and/or estimated inputs where data was not provided. Assumptions are clearly marked. Final compensation details are to be confirmed by the employer.
