The program currently has two full-time outpatient neurologists and one full-time neurohospitalist. This position adds a third outpatient physician to meet growing clinic demand. It is a growth addition, not a replacement.
The practice model is purely outpatient and consultative. Hospitalists admit all inpatient neurology patients; the incoming neurologist functions as a consultant only. After-hours and overnight coverage is handled entirely by a teleneuro service, meaning there is no traditional call obligation attached to this role.
