Memorial Cancer Center 

Memorial Cancer Institute cements its place as a home for world-class treatment, research, and the highest quality patient and family-centered care to the more than 5,200 new patients that come for life-saving treatment each year.

The freestanding, 121,000+ sq. ft. facility that will be constructed will consolidate resources and maximize collaboration between high-level specialists at what is already one of only five Cancer Centers of Excellence in Florida.

The new four-story Memorial Cancer Institute will house radiation oncology, a breast center, hematology-oncology clinic, the Moffitt Malignant Hematology and Cellular Therapy Clinic, and an infusion clinic. It will also feature an image recovery area, conference center, physician offices, private infusion suites, a rooftop garden, and meditation room.

Memorial Cancer Institute is one of the largest cancer centers in Florida. And we have ample support for our patients, including: 

  • Patient support including Patient Navigators to guide you through your cancer treatment
  • Clinical trials and research that give you access to breakthroughs in cancer care
  • Integrated treatment plans that treat the whole person not just the diagnosis
  • Designated as a Florida Cancer Center of Excellence by the Florida Department of Health

Memorial Cancer Institute’s Breast Program is certified by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).

Memorial Cancer Institute holds numerous certifications including, Commission on Cancer, ASCO-Quality Oncology Practice (QOPI), Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), and American College of Radiology (ACR) for Radiation Oncology.

In addition, Memorial Cancer Institute has a unique partnership with Florida Atlantic University (MCIFAU) and is designated as a State of Florida Cancer Center of Excellence, one of only five in the state.
