Schedule

The requirement is 180 clinical days per year and when fully staffed will be a mix of 3 & 4 day work weeks ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Shift types are equally and equitably distributed among partners, hours are generally 8 am to 4 pm and we provide overnight nighthawk coverage from 6 pm to 8 am. We don’t normally schedule patients after 3pm, so everyone gets their own cases wraps up then works to help with any back log. Everyone tries to get out around 4pm to spend time with their families.

Every week one provider will be the daytime “on call” provider. This provider will be working from home, with our provided home workstations, that day and strictly doing reads that come through the ED, inpatient and prioritizing cross sectional. The schedule for this day will be 8am – 6pm, after which the nighthawk service takes over.

Everyone on the team is very collaborate with this, and if any specialized modalities come through the providers with specialty training try to read those as much as possible.
