Compensation Structure

Ochsner Health System offers a competitive compensation package built around a two-year salary guarantee followed by a production-based model.

  • Base Salary Guarantee: $600,000 annually for the first two years, providing income stability while you build your practice and referral base
  • Production Model: RVU-based compensation at $56–$60 per RVU after the guarantee period, with value-based incentives comprising 5–10% of total compensation
  • Historical Productivity Reference: Previous physicians at Baptist Hospital achieved 8,000–9,500 RVUs annually
