Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center is recruiting a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon to join its growing vascular surgery department in Lafayette, Louisiana. The department opened in 2023 and is expanding to meet strong regional demand. This is a growth position, not a replacement, added as the program builds toward a planned team of four vascular surgeons.
The role serves Louisiana's Acadiana region along with South, Central, and Southwest Louisiana, a large catchment with a high prevalence of vascular disease. You would practice within a Level II Trauma Center that anchors an eight-parish service area of nearly 750,000 residents, supported by a strong graduate medical education environment and a hospital administration that has invested in the department's growth.
