In this role, you will care for a diverse and growing patient population in a region. Your arrival will offer timely, local access and allow you to build a full clinical and procedural schedule quickly, with patient volume expected to ramp up within 6 to 12 months—even faster with targeted marketing and referral coordination.
You’ll practice out of Ochsner Hancock, a well-equipped community hospital offering modern surgical suites, two endoscopy rooms, and a cysto suite, with potential to tailor it to your procedural preferences. You’ll also have access to mobile lithotripsy services, with the option to coordinate robot-assisted cases at Ochsner’s Slidell. The OR schedule is flexible, with light case volume today and strong opportunity to build your ideal flow. Supportive OR and clinic staff are eager to see a dedicated urologist join the team, and experienced hospitalists handle nearly all inpatient responsibilities.
Your patients will come from Bay St. Louis and surrounding towns like Waveland, Pass Christian, Diamondhead, and beyond. Making this an ideal setting for a general urologist or someone interested in outpatient-based procedures. You’ll enjoy a balanced schedule with no in-house call and very minimal interruptions after hours. Referrals will come directly from more than 20 primary care providers across the coast.
