Dr. James Newcomb, V.P. Medical Affairs

Dr. Newcomb earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Following graduation, he completed his residency training in Family Practice at the Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge. Dr. Newcomb practices at Ochsner Health Center Slidell. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 2006 and is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

Dr. Janine Parker, Pulmonary Disease

Dr. Janine Parker, MD is a pulmonologist in Slidell, LA. Dr. Parker completed a residency at La Affil Hosps. She currently practices at IMG Physicians and is affiliated with Ochsner Medical Center – North Shore. She accepts multiple insurance plans. Dr. Parker is board certified in Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Jennifer Hansen, Pulmonology/Critical Care

Dr. Jennifer Hansen received her undergraduate degree and medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Following this, she completed her internship and residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. She completed her fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Hansen is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. She has been practicing medicine since 2013 and on staff at Ochsner since 2019. Dr. Hansen’s expertise is in pulmonology and intensive care.

Dr. Dennis Dale, Pulmonology/Critical Care

Dr. Dennis Dale received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center located in New Orleans, LA. He then completed an internal medicine residency at University of Pittsburgh Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He also completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, TX.
