The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at PCH is renowned for its comprehensive Hematology/Oncology services. The program sees 350 new oncology patients diagnosed each year, participates in over 100 clinical trials spanning leukemias, lymphomas, solid tumors, brain tumors, rare cancers, and cancer-like disorders, and is a proud member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG).
The CCBD is also home to a robust hematology program covering benign hematologic disorders, sickle cell disease, hemostasis, and thrombosis. Its bone marrow transplant program boasts one of the lowest mortality rates in the nation.
