Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

Saint Alphonsus offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation package designed to attract and retain top talent. Highlights include:

  • Base Salary: The $550,000 salary is guaranteed indefinitely. The contract term is in two-year increments and is automatically renewed every two years, i.e., an "Evergreen Contract." Every 12 to 18 months, St. Alphonsus will reevaluate the compensation, making it eligible for an increase. The last increase in compensation was in June 2024.
  • Incentives: $100 per RVU exceeding a 5,500 threshold, up to $10,000 in quality incentives.
    The average RVU per patient encounter is 2.1
  • Signing Bonus: Up to $110,000 with a three-year commitment.
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Licensing fees, CME allowances, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, health/dental/vision insurance, and a robust retirement plan (403b) with an employer match of up to 6.5%.
  • Claim Made Malpractice Liability Insurance with tail coverage.
  • PTO: 20 Days of PTO, 7 Federal Holidays and 5 days of CME with an annual allowance of $3,000
  • Student Loan Repayment Available: Up to $30,000 per year through NHSC
