Current Providers & Need
Current Team: 33 General Anesthesiologists, 4 Cardiac Anesthesiologists, and 4 CRNA’s.
They are looking for 6 General Anesthesiologists, 2 Cardiac Anesthesiologists, and 1 CRNA.
They are looking to hire both Cardiac & General.
Cardiac MDs will do all the heart cases but will also have some general cases as needed.

Types of Cases - As we are growing the Anesthesia team, there is flexibility in the types of cases you will be seeing.
General including robotic-assisted surgery and an MBSQIP Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence
Neurosurgery including our Joint Commission Spine Center of Excellence, trauma, brain tumors
Orthopedics including a busy trauma practice and Hip & Knee Replacement Centers of Excellence
Urology, including robotic-assisted surgery
Vascular, including both surgical and cath lab procedures
Gynecology, including oncology specialists and robotic-assisted procedures.
ENT, including neurotology
Pediatrics, generally healthy, either acute or ENT
CT, including TAVRs & open hearts (~300 a year, planned to grow to 500)
Electrophysiology
Plastics, primarily reconstruction
GI & Pulmonary procedures, including many urgent/emergent
Interventional radiology
Remote anesthesia support for imaging procedures, such as MRIs
OB: Busy center with level 3 NICU and ~3000 births a year, 19-bed L&D unit
NO: transplants, interventional neurovascular, sick pediatric sub-specialties
Schedule
4 10-hour shifts/week (50 hours/week maximum, if you include call)
They have a number of different shifts that are rotated.
The schedule and call schedule were created by the current Anesthesiologists, and they rave about how physician-friendly it is.
Call Schedule: (C1, C2, C3)
If you live within 20 minutes of hospital, call can be taken from home.
