You will work as an independent contractor with Care for Women's Medical Group and be paid by the hour for every hour you are on shift. Because you choose your number of shifts each month, you also control your income.

The figures above are gross earnings at $175 per hour and assume the same number of shifts every month. Taking more than 7 shifts per month raises your earnings at the same rate.
Malpractice: Claims-made coverage with $1M/$3M limits, provided by San Antonio Regional Hospital. Tail coverage is included.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch are provided during your shift, with unlimited use of the hospital cafeteria.
Health and retirement: As a 1099 contractor, you arrange your own health insurance and retirement plan.
Schedule control: You choose your shifts each month, including weekdays, weekends, 12-hour nights, or back-to-back 48-hour blocks.
