Choose exactly how you want your practice scheduled and set up for your maximum efficiency and enjoyment. You can have a 4 or 4.5-day work week. Most of your time will be spent in the clinic doing your outpatient practice. However once or twice a month you will tend to the residents who reside in the adjacent skilled nursing facility, which will need visits once every 60 days. The other components of your work week will consist of light ER and inpatient work.
You can do procedures including scopes and other procedures that may interest you. Additionally, you have the option to incorporate leadership and committees into your professional balance.
You are allotted up to one hour for initial patient visits and 30 minutes for follow-up visits if you so choose to spend that amount of time with your patients. Sanford Health truly allows you to have the autonomy to craft your ideal practice with the support of the operations staff, nurses, and mid-level providers.
Avera is Sanford Health’s primary competitor throughout the Dakotas and Minnesota. There is a small Avera clinic near the Tracy location as well, however, they do not impede the practice or need for a provider at this location whatsoever.
