This hospitalist position offers the opportunity to focus on patient care without the requirement for procedures, appealing to physicians who prioritize direct patient interaction. We welcome applicants who are board-certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. For recent residency graduates, there is a generous allowance of up to 5 years to achieve board certification, supporting your transition into practice. The role involves managing a daily patient census of approximately 16-19 individuals, reflecting a moderate acuity level that focuses solely on floor patients, thereby excluding ICU responsibilities. This delineation ensures that hospitalists can concentrate on providing exceptional care in a more defined scope. The hospital’s Intensivist team ensures comprehensive 24/7 coverage for the closed ICU unit, allowing hospitalists to work with peace of mind, knowing that critical care is expertly handled. Additionally, the hospital employs the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system, streamlining patient information management and supporting efficient care delivery.
