Emergency Medicine Ovewrview

As an Emergency Medicine physician, you will join an award-winning practice in TeamHealth and a local team consisting of 25 EM MDs and 14 APCs that is seeking to expand due to upcoming retirements and a shortage of staff since the pandemic. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to adapt to seasonal fluctuations, and rotate through multiple facilities.

Candidate Parameters 

  • Board Certified Emergency Medicine Required
  • Open to New Emergency Medicine Graduates 

Recruitment Process 

  • Email your updated CV to Travis Nash and complete the online background disclosure sent via DocuSign.
  • First contact is a phone interview with ED Medical Director Dr. Bethel of TeamHealth
  • TeamHealth will send you what they call a Sanction Check. You only need to enter your name, date of birth, and grant them authorization to check your background.
  • Onsite interview: TeamHealth covers all expenses for your airfare, hotel, and rental car
  • Dr. Bethel requests feedback from everyone that met with you after the interview and he typically makes a decision within 48 hours after the onsite interview.
  • TeamHealth Recruiter Robin Lorder verbally presents the offer terms by phone.
  • If you accept the verbal terms of the offer, then an employment agreement with an easy-to-read cover page is created and sent to you in less than 5 business days.
