Position Overview

Willis-Knighton Cancer Center runs one of the most resource-rich community oncology programs in the country, including a world-class proton therapy program, an in-house molecular biologist, MD Anderson-trained subspecialty support, and a growing clinical trials program. Seven independent oncologists share overhead and call on a Q7 rotation, and the group's hematology panel is booked out more than three months. The incoming physician enters through a defined hospitalist pathway at Piermont and transitions into the main group after demonstrating long-term commitment to the region.
