Position Overview

WK South has a PICU, a Level III NICU, pediatric surgery, and peds endo, but no pediatric neurologist for nearly a decade. Families are waiting six to seven months at competing facilities or driving to Dallas and Houston. The incoming physician will build this program from a blank shell, with a PICU director who trained at UCSF actively in their corner, a catchment area of one to two million people, and no local competition. The space is ready. The demand is there. This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity.
