Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) is continuing its legacy of providing the state’s top-rated heart care, while also elevating the quality of care for several other services, according to a recent study by an independent healthcare quality rating service.
The Hospital Quality Ratings study by CareChex includes virtually all U.S. hospitals (general, acute, non-federal) and measures them across several categories including quality of medical care, outcomes of care and patient satisfaction.
“Safety and quality are the two biggest priorities for our teams every day, and that goes from the front lines all the way to leadership and boards and through our volunteers,” says Carol Burrell, president and CEO of Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS). “We’ve strived to create a culture of continuous improvement, and these great ratings are just one more sign that it’s creating exceptional outcomes for our patients.”
