Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

The length of the initial contract is for 3-years and you will have a guaranteed base salary each year. Specific compensation amount is going to be determined throughout the interview process, but will be at the 50th % of the MGMA & ECG surveys. They are in the process of determining that exact amount now and will have an exact number for the onsite visit. You will also get a sign-on bonus and relocation amount that is given in one lump sum, and you can use it as you see necessary.

In addition to a guaranteed base salary every year, there is an RVU component as well. Once you meet a specific RVU amount you will get paid for every RVU produced above that. You will also qualify for their Value Based Care bonus, with the specific amount being determined soon.

The Medical Director position will also get a stipend, which is going to be a per hour rate for all hours spent doing those specific duties.

Benefits:
Each provider will be given full health benefits, this includes health, vision, dental, long and short term disability, life insurance and matching 401K. The cost of these benefits is $85/ pay check for the provider, and an additional $4 for the rest of the family to be fully covered. So for a family of 4, it would be $89/ per check. The monthly premium is the only cost to the provider, there are no co-pays, no deductibles and they cover 100% of the cost of all services!!

Jefferson Healthcare provides all physicians with Malpractice Coverage, and Malpractice Tail coverage. They do not have a non-compete clause in their agreement and physicians can leave anytime by providing a 90-day notice.

PTO:
Providers are front loaded 260 hours for the 1st 2-years and 300+ hours every year after that. They are also given holidays and days for CME, along with $5,000 for CME.
