About The Team
Joining a Robust, Diverse Team Poised to Support You
When you join Springfield Family Physicians (SFP), you’re stepping into a deeply seasoned and collaborative team environment designed to let you focus on patients — not paperwork or fragmented coverage. You’ll be joining approximately 25 clinicians across three locations (Springfield, Centennial, and McKenzie Valley) — a size that’s big enough to offer breadth of resources, yet small enough to preserve the collegial, physician-led culture.
Leadership & Governance — A Foundation You Can Count On
- The practice is physician-governed, meaning you’ll have direct access to leadership and decision-making.
- With nine partner physicians (as noted in the overview), the model supports continuity, shared oversight, and physician-driven operations.
- You won’t feel isolated — you’ll be part of a team where clinical decisions, scheduling protocols, and administrative workflows are shaped by practicing physicians who understand the daily realities of primary care.
Clinical Team Composition & Support Structure
- Your care team includes a mix of physicians (MDs/DOs) and advanced practice providers (APPs) — offering flexibility and collaboration in care delivery. For example, on the provider list you’ll find MDs such as Laura Moore, MD or Daniel K. Paulson, MD.
- APPs and physician assistants supplement clinic access, allowing the group to maintain consistent coverage without overburdening any single clinician.
- Robust support services include:
- A triage department, open Mon–Fri until 8 p.m., and Sat until 5 p.m.
- Clinical support staff for chronic care workflows (e.g., anticoagulation clinic) and onsite diagnostics (X-ray, labs)
- In-house coding and administrative support that allows you to focus on patients, not billing or EMR backlogs.
A Collaborative Culture Centered on Physician Well-Being
- You’ll quickly engage in weekly or biweekly clinician huddles where feedback, workflow improvements, and clinical best practices are actively discussed.
- Because the practice is physician-led, you’ll find that clinicians’ voices are heard — whether it’s about schedule adjustments, procedure offerings, or call rotation design.
- Your work isn’t siloed — you’ll have ready access to colleagues for case discussion, second opinions, and peer mentoring, creating a team-based primary care model rather than a solo “island” practice.
Key Staff-Related Highlights
- A multi-clinic infrastructure of three sites allows flexibility in location preference while maintaining the same overarching culture.
- A full complement of clinical and administrative support services minimizes non-physician-care burdens.
- Physician-governed leadership ensures your concerns, workflow preferences, and career aspirations are part of the structural conversation.
- A mix of experience levels among clinicians (from seasoned MDs to mid-career APPs) creates a dynamic mentorship and collaboration environment.
As you join SFP, you’ll walk into a well-established, well-supported team where the culture is physician-driven and resource-rich. Your colleagues and support staff are there not just to assist — but to partner with you in delivering high-quality, sustainable primary care.
