This is a 626-bed tertiary care center doing over 2,400 deliveries annually or 200 per month and is recognized as Newsweek’s best maternity hospitals for 2023.
Our OBED is an extension of the main emergency room and is fully staffed with OB Hospitalists and specialists. They treat pregnancy and postpartum-related concerns such as preterm labor, preeclampsia, bleeding, ruptures, blood pressure, -etc.
Our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) features 28 semi-private beds with a team of neonatologists, neonatal nurses, and respiratory therapists, available 24/7. For older children, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at AdventHealth Tampa is the only provider of critical-care services for children in north Hillsborough and east Pasco counties.
