Otolaryngology Overview

Previously, in San Luis Obispo there were private groups of ENTs practicing in the community. However, in the last few years, the providers in these groups have retired. There were two ENTs who had been in the community for over 30 years and retired in the last two years. An additional physician, Dr. Ian Murton, a well-known ENT in the community, retired at the end of 2023 and has referred all his patients to Adventist. There are 282,013 people in San Luis Obispo County, but Adventist serves a patient population of close to 400,000. Now, there are only 2 ENTs in the community to them.
