Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

Adventist Health Sonora offers a competitive and transparent compensation package designed to attract and retain top-tier talent in interventional cardiology. The compensation structure begins with a straightforward salary model during the first year, transitioning into an RVU-based productivity model in subsequent years. This ensures alignment between physician efforts and rewards while providing financial stability during the onboarding phase.

The total earnings potential is enhanced by the hospital’s robust patient referral network and growing interventional program, which guarantees a steady stream of cases. In addition to the base salary, physicians may qualify for performance incentives and bonuses based on productivity and quality metrics.

The benefits package includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, along with malpractice insurance coverage. Adventist Health Sonora also provides retirement planning options, including a 401(k) plan with employer contributions. Paid time off is offered to support work-life balance, alongside allowances for Continuing Medical Education (CME), professional licenses, and membership dues.

Relocation assistance is available to help ease the transition to Sonora, California, and additional perks such as wellness programs and resources for physicians’ families are part of the comprehensive benefits package.
