The reason we are recruiting is to replace a husband-and-wife team that are leaving the area. We therefore are able to immediately absorb two (2) physicians into the practice immediately with an option for a 3rd should you know of additional colleagues/friends you’d like to have join you in this ideal practice setting.
You have complete autonomy to see patients in the fashion you see fit, to schedule appointments and visit times as you prefer and most importantly have control over the quality of care you wish to provide. Get out of the rat race where organizations are continually pushing you to see more and more patients, to shorten your visit times, to triple book your calendar, and focus on volume and revenue targets. That ends now. Be able to do the things you always wanted to do when you went into medicine. Build that dream practice you always envisioned.
This practice really is the ability to have a nearly part time role with part time volume targets, but continuing to earn one of the highest incomes for the work you’re being asked to complete. Imagine the lack of stress and peace you might have in a role that focuses on your time away from the office and being able to focus your interests on the things that matter most to you.
The basic schedule is a 4-day work week working 8-5pm.
Shared call schedule amongst the FPOB team.
There is the ability to work in the ER on a 24 hour shift, which takes the place of 2 work days in clinic, on weeks you choose to work in the ER you’d be working a 3 day work week.
There is also the ability to work as the teams inpatient rounding attendee where you’d be checking in with any patients in the hospital from 7-10:30am then the afternoon in clinic.
This is a 25 bed facility, the workload and commitments are minimal and offered for the physician staff to be able to keep their skills and have options and variety in their practice from month to month. It’s a model that the team really loves having and has provided them a great deal of joy being able to have that kind of visibility and continuity of care to be able to provide the community.
