Primary Care Job Details:
The reason we are recruiting is to expand our primary care staffing based on community needs. We are currently booked out nearly 3 months for new patient evaluations. Our staff are scheduled to see 12-15 Patients per day, 4 days per week. We want to keep those metrics, to keep those we must add 1 to 2 primary care providers (NP).
Current team consists of 6 FPOB physicans and 2 NPs. You’ll be working to your highest level of licensure and prescribing ability in Oregon where NPs can work autonomously without physician oversight.
You have complete autonomy to see patients in the fashion you see fit, to schedule appointments and visit times as you prefer and most importantly have control over the quality of care you wish to provide. Get out of the rat race where organizations are continually pushing you to see more and more patients, to shorten your visit times, to triple book your calendar, and focus on volume and revenue targets. That ends now. Be able to do the things you always wanted to do when you went into medicine. Build that dream practice you always envisioned.
Imagine the lack of stress and peace you might have in a role that focuses on your time away from the office and being able to focus your interests on the things that matter most to you.
Schedule:
The basic schedule is a 4-day work week (4x 10 hour days = 36 Hours Clinical Contact)
No Call
No Nights
No Weekends
12-15 Patients Per Day
Comprehensive practice where you’ll see all ages. The ideal candidate is comfortable with chronic diseases and conditions. Ex: diabetes, COPD, cholesterol, hypertension, etc.
Option to pick up optional work in ER for additional income if desired (not required)
It’s a model that the team really loves having and has provided them a great deal of joy being able to have that kind of visibility and continuity of care to be able to provide the community.
