Bozeman Health offers a competitive compensation model based on a blended approach using benchmarks from MGMA, AMGA, and Sullivan & Cotter. This structure ensures fair and market-aligned compensation with opportunities for both production and quality-based incentives.

Summary:
• Contract Term: 2-year agreement that automatically renews for successive 1-year terms unless notice is provided by either party.
• Mutual Out Clause: 90-day notice required for termination without cause.
• Malpractice Coverage: Fully covered by the employer, including tail coverage.
• Visa Support: J-1 visa candidates are welcome and supported.
• Benefits: Full comprehensive benefits package provided from day one.

The position includes a base salary with additional production and quality incentives that are achievable through a wRVU-based compensation model, aligning with national standards. Physicians are also eligible for an annual quality bonus, awarded for meeting or exceeding 3–4 key performance metrics set by the department's operations team. These metrics focus on patient outcomes, clinical care quality, patient satisfaction, and care efficiency.

Earning Potential Based on Patient Volume:

If Seeing 10 Patients Per Day:
• Daily RVUs: 10 patients × 2.9 wRVUs = 29 wRVUs/day
• Annual RVUs: 29 wRVUs/day × 173 days = 5,017 wRVUs/year
• RVUs above threshold: 5,017 – 3,122 = 1,895 wRVUs
• Productivity Bonus: 1,895 × $71.47 = $135,435
• Total Compensation: $246,751 (base) + $135,435 (productivity) = $382,186

If Seeing 12 Patients Per Day:
• Daily RVUs: 12 patients × 2.9 wRVUs = 34.8 wRVUs/day
• Annual RVUs: 34.8 wRVUs/day × 173 days = 6,020 wRVUs/year
• RVUs above threshold: 6,020 – 3,122 = 2,898 wRVUs
• Productivity Bonus: 2,898 × $71.47 = $207,120
• Total Compensation: $246,751 (base) + $207,120 (productivity) = $453,871

Quality Bonus:
• Amount: Up to $13,708 annually
• Eligibility: Based on achieving 3–4 departmental performance metrics

Commencement Bonus:
• Timing: Paid within the first 30 days of employment
• Payment Method: To be confirmed if processed through payroll (taxed) or as a direct payment (1099)

Time Off:
• Paid Time Off (PTO): 6 weeks total
• CME Days: 5 paid days for continuing education
• Holidays: 6 days
